ART! Vancouver 2018


This year the Canadian annual international exhibition of contemporary art was held from 19 to 22 April.

According to the preliminary selection of the organizers of the exhibition, for the first time the contemporary Ukrainian art was presented to the international public with the honor of the gallery of author’s works “Gamma”.
More than 100 outstanding artists from all over the world have placed their work in the premises of the Vancouver Convention Center.

The Ukrainian gallery “Gamma” won the “Best Exposition” nomination, and the high level of professional skill of Ukrainian artists deeply impressed both artists and connoisseurs of art and collectors from all over the world.
The exhibition featured the artist Yurii Klapoukh, the painter Olexander Melnykov, the Honored Artist of Ukraine Ivan Pylypenko, the graphics-painter Denys Chernov, the NAtional Master of Ukraine Maryna Nesterova.

The central work of the exhibition was the picture “Serious intentions” by Yurii Klapoukh, which is a message for all generations. At all times and ages, in the past and the future, the relationship between a man and a woman – their love, friendship, need for each other – is the eternal engine of human existence. This is the main and real source of vitality, emotional health, positive thinking
