On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays 11.12.16 the first contest of young talents of performing skills was held in the Modern Ukrainian Art Gallery of Authors works “Gamma”, which was organized jointly with the Polish-Ukrainian community of the cultural and educational center “Krinitsa” in Ukraine.
Leading the competition, a member of the Board of the Union of Poles of Ukraine, the chairman of the Pusko “Krinitsa” in Ukraine, Mr. Stefan Veloh and the art director of the gallery Rinald Vlasov, created a unique atmosphere of comfort and goodwill.
Honored guests came to support the young talents: Consul General of the Consulate Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kiev Tomasz Dederko with his wife and the main artist of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine named after T. Shavchenk Maria Levitskaya.
The professional jury of the contest included:
Soloist of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, cellist Leonid Gerzhan, pianist, music teacher Elena Rentarevska, accompanist, teacher of musical school №5 Arthur Lier, owner of the gallery “Gamma” Tatyana Balyalina.
The professional jury evaluated the skill of each participant, and the sincerity of the performance – the audience.
1 place was shared by Julia Obukhovskaya and Elizaveta Vlasova
2 place and the Audience Award was awarded to Alexander Szczyrba
3rd place was shared by Alexei Babich and Anastasia Tkachenko.
Each contestant was awarded with gifts of authorship and gratitude from the Gamma Gallery and PUSKO Krinitsa.
At the end of the evening, the real pleasure was the performances of pianist Elena Arendarevskaya (solo and in duet with cellist Leonid Gerzhan) and the virtuoso play of Arthur Lier.
